About Claire

I strive to build a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental relationship with each of my clients.

Thanks for taking the time to find out more about me. It's important to find a counselor with whom you feel comfortable and whose skills and interests match your needs.

I received my Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. I am also a Nationally Certified Counselor.

I work with a range of ages, from adolescents to seniors, and have received special training in counseling college students at both the Rollins College Personal Counseling Center and the University of Central Florida Counseling Center.

I have also received significant additional training in:

• Narrative Therapy, which helps clients move away from negative life stories and toward more desirable and meaningful alternatives.
• EMDR, which helps clients recover from past or recent trauma.

I am a member of the American Counseling Association, the American College Counseling Association, the Association of Women in Psychology, and the Mental Health Counselors of Central Florida. I abide by the rules and codes of ethics of these organizations.

I am passionate about what I do and feel privileged to play a role in my clients' journeys toward health, hope, and healing.
